AIM - The American Institute of Management is a a reconstitution of what was originally FIM - Fiji Institute of Management founded in 1983 by Dr. H. Koya then a trainer officer in Suva under the auspices of the Australian Institute of Management. Board members of FIM comprised of General Managers of Queensland Insurance Company, Colonial Mutual (Australia), Fiji Times, Burns Phillip, Carpenters Fiji Limited, Bank of New Zealand and several senior staff of the University of the South Pacific. Following the military coups in Fiji since 1987, most members of FIM took residency abroad and FIM became dysfunctional. Fortunately the FIM founder Dr. H. Koya on immigrating to US, reconstituted FIM as the American Institute of Management with same professional aims and ambitions. The professional management institute is new to Americans. We are using our blog to promote AIM as it much easier to do, inexpensive and instantaneous. www.americaninstituteofmanage...
